A one hour workshop on building resilience and proactively preventing and dealing with stress, that ensures you have the most effective workforce, with less lost days due to sickness and a more focussed attitude to work.

As well as being a professional mindreader, Alex Crow is also Master Practitioner of Neuro Linguistic Programming and runs workshops on managing stress and building resilience as "The Stress Boffin" for companies of all types and sizes throughout the UK and beyond. His workshops are interactive and engaging and give everyone the tools and resources they need to manage their stress no matter the cause.

Luckily for us, not everybody has the same unknown unknowns.

Data science is a discipline that has recently become much more prominent especially with the advent of machine learning  and artificial intelligence. IBM has even morphed into a business based on 'big data'rather than big boxes.

In old fashioned parlance "information is power?. In the world of the SME information is the power to make your business stronger, more profitable, and more able to attract funding.

Business Owners focus on their known knowns. At least, they focus on what they believe to be their known knowns; this article/presentation is about the power of looking for the unknown unknowns.

If you think the disciplines of big data don?t apply to your business, think again. Using the power of data analysis to improve profitability and secure funding is definitely not just the preserve of the global corporates like Amazon.

I have been a member of the Business Network South Herts networking group since May 2019 and I have attended most of the monthly meetings since then. I have attended many other networking meetings and events over time but BNSH is unique. Sharon takes the time at the outset to get to know each member, to understand their business and what they want from networking. Sharon is a superb host and she is very proactive in connecting people and creating networks within the group. The meetings themselves are unique, in that each month a different member has the opportunity to 'showcase' their business to the group through a presentation. At the same time, for the other members, this is a great opportunity to learn more about each others' industries and to understand the latest trends in the market. There is always ample time for informal networking but the fact that the meeting also incorporates a seated lunch means that you can get to know the other members at your table, and vice versa, properly which helps to promote stronger relationships between members.
